Details: Our fest Megalith is analogous to a firm base. Megaliths are large stone structures or groups of standing stones, located at sites in various parts of the world and believed to have religious & historical significance. The term Megalith means "great stone" which is derived from the Greek words "megas" ('great') and "lithos" ('stone').

The Department of Civil Engineering, IIT, Kharagpur will organize Megalith, its technical festival from the 15th to 17th January '10. To achieve the objective of promoting and encouraging innovation in engineering among the students, the Civil Engineering Society has conceived Megalith to provide a platform for eminent persons from the corporate world and academia to congregate and share the knowledge gathered over years of experience in civil engineering

In view of online CAT Examination, IV B.Tech I-Semester University Examinations scheduled on 2nd December 2009 are postponed to 12th December-2009, as per the same time schedule.

Further, the I - B.Tech (R07-Engineering Drawing) Examinations scheduled on 2nd December 2009 are rescheduled on Ist December 2009. as per same time schedule. However, there is no change in the schedule of I - B.Tech Examinations of (R05, RR, & NR) regulations on 2nd December 2009.

The Principles are requested to go through Re-Revised Time Table kept in the Examination Portal/website and duly inform to your students.
